Services
Spring Clean Up
Spring Clean Up services will be performed in March and April. All planting beds will be weeded and leaves and debris removed. Excess debris on lawn areas will be raked up and removed. All hard surfaces will be swept and/or blown clean upon completion.
Fall Clean Up
Fall Clean Up services will be performed in November and December. Fallen leaves and branches will be raked from all planting beds and turf areas and removed and hauled away. All hard surfaces will be swept and/or blown clean upon completion. All annual flowers will be removed and hauled away after the first major frost. All perennials will be cut down and all mum plants will either be cut down or removed prior to the end of the season.
Lawn Mowing
Occurs weekly from mid-April through October and maintained at a height of 2.5” – 3” as the turf requires during the growing season. Mowing patterns will be alternated on a weekly basis to lessen soil compaction and turf rutting. The grass clippings will be blown off hard surfaces onto turf area after each mowing.
Tree and Shrub Trimming
Trimming of all shrubs, evergreens, and small ornamentals under 15’ will be performed to maintain the natural beauty of the plants. All groundcover and perennial areas will be trimmed as required. All debris will be removed and hauled away upon completion of each seasonal trimming. This trimming is only a shaping of the plant material and controlling of out growth, not hard pruning of branches. Maintenance of Flowerbeds and Perennials Pinching of flower heads and removal of dead heads throughout the growing season, if flowerbeds exist.
Weeding
All bed areas will be checked weekly and weeded as needed to maintain a weed-free appearance.
Pre-Emergent Weed Control
A pre-emergent weed control will be applied in spring to reduce weed seed germination and hand weeding will address any growth thereafter.
Mulching
Tree and shrub beds will be cultivated to give a groomed appearance, when there is a minimum of 2” of fresh hardwood shredded bark mulch. If you have less than 2” of fresh hardwood shredded bark mulch, you will be provided with a proposal for installation of mulch.
Edging Beds and Tree Rings
Beds and tree rings will be edged to give a groomed appearance.
Grub Proofing of Lawns
A one-time granular application to prevent grubs from damaging your lawn. Grubs can ruin an untreated lawn within 2-4 weeks. This treatment is applied during the months of June and July.
